IVF Offspring from Some of the Older Heritage Reference Bulls

Whispering Hills Farm has chosen to employ IVF embryo production when only a very small amount of semen from rare important Classic Heritage Shorthorn bulls is known to exist. IVF was chosen over conventional ET work because of the ability to use partial amps or straws in embryo production. Currently Whispering Hills Farm has IVF embryos from over 15 different Heritage Shorthorn bulls from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s in our inventory which have been used or will be used to further expand the genetic base of today’s Heritage Shorthorns.
